President & CEO, Community Catalyst
Every intelligence layer starts with someone willing to go first. For us, that was Linda.
Plenty of nonprofit leaders are curious about AI. Linda showed up with a vision. Community Catalyst had spent 25 years building the health justice movement: the partnerships, the policy expertise, the community trust. She saw that the next era would be decided by something else as well, which is who has the information, and who has the capacity to act on it.
Hospital systems have analysts. Insurers have data teams. Private equity has data feeds. The communities living with the results usually find out last. Linda wanted to change that, and she wanted to do it now, with tools that didn't exist yet.
So we built them together. Not as vendor and client, but as co-innovators. Her team brought decades of movement knowledge, 350+ partner relationships and thousands of real stories. We brought the engine. Every product in this story got sharper because Linda and her team kept asking for more than anyone had built before.

A knowledge layer that sits on top of everything an enterprise nonprofit knows, and keeps learning.
Policy news, filings and the public record, read the day they're published.
Thousands of testimonials, videos and stories, in people's own words.
Your agenda, your positions, and the rules that decide what counts as persuasive.
Programs, partners, brand voice, impact metrics and every past campaign.
Understands all four, in real time, and applies them to your core work and mission.
Community Catalyst works through a network of more than 350 partner organizations. Most are grassroots groups running on a handful of overworked people. They had little time to document their work, engage community members or show what their efforts achieved.
That left the whole field unable to answer its most basic question: what did we accomplish together, and how do we know? Evidence was fragmented. Lived experience was buried in inboxes and folders. And the health systems on the other side of the table controlled most of the information.
Linda's bet was that one intelligence layer could fix all three problems at once: give every partner more capacity, turn their stories into shared proof, and warn communities before the next crisis arrives. We built it in three layers.
Give every community organization the capacity of a full comms, fundraising and research team.
Capacity Accelerator combines PosterChild's AI teammates with Community Catalyst's expertise and a trusted network of people. A three-person coalition can now brief county supervisors, draft public comments and work the press, while still doing Tuesday's intake.
An always-on team for communications, fundraising, research and rapid response.
Community Catalyst's research, policy tools and resources, personalized to each community.
A direct line to policy, legal, strategy and design help when AI isn't enough.

Narrative & Brand System. The organization's identity drives everything the AI produces.

Newsroom. Reads the news and drafts thought leadership on your behalf.

Funding Intelligence. Opportunities, briefs, outreach plans and key contacts.

Social Media. On-brand posts from real impact stories, published automatically.

Community Website. A story hub that writes itself, with the community's help.
Turn thousands of community voices into evidence that moves policy and funding.
Our Collective Intelligence Engine gave Community Catalyst and a first cohort of 20 partners a way to collect firsthand testimonials and share them across digital and social channels. Every story feeds a shared layer: classified by the harm people experienced, the system that failed them and what happened next.
Ask it a question in plain language and you get an answer grounded in what communities actually said, with the stories to back it up.

A snapshot of the live Insights view from when 14,290 stories had been classified, redrawn for legibility with the same figures. The collection has since grown past 20,000. Nearly 9 in 10 stories describe a problem that is still unresolved, which is exactly why this evidence matters.

The story portal. Twelve questions and 114 videos in one category alone, recorded by community members.

The Content Library. Every testimonial scored, tagged and one click from a story, a one-pager or a post.
We watch the market. Then we turn it into a weekly brief that reaches 30,000 people.
When a hospital starts to fail, investors have usually been watching for a year. Market Watch reads the same public record they do, for 99,977 facilities nationwide. It reads it for communities.
A dashboard waits for someone to log in, so we didn't stop at one. Every week the signals become Market Watch, a community health brief from Community Catalyst, prepared by PosterChild, with a national edition and a version for every state. It lands in 30,000 inboxes and tells people what changed, what it means for them, and what to do next.
Filings, finances, ownership and news for 99,977 Medicare-certified facilities.
Closures, sales, layoffs and lost services, caught the moment they hit the record.
Plain-language guidance on every story, paired with a real voice from the story bank.
A weekly brief, national or state by state, ready to act on.

Forward-looking estimates built from each hospital's own filed finances and history.
Plain-language guidance under each news story, written for the people doing the work.

Signals and what to watch. The record points to about 172 hospital closures and 129 maternity units at risk over the next three years.

“Communities shouldn’t have to wait until a hospital unit closes, a maternity ward disappears, or a trusted clinician is suddenly gone to know their healthcare is at risk.”
Linda Goler Blount, launching Community Health Market Watch™ at Community Catalyst
“I’m especially grateful to Leandrew Robinson and our partners at PosterChild.ai for helping bring this vision to life.”
“Their lived experience is the intelligence that makes this platform work.”

Early detection. Community leverage. Protecting access to care before decisions are irreversible.
Madera Community Hospital was the only hospital in its county: 156,000 people, 735 births a year, the nearest alternative thirty miles away. It failed in public, in filings, for nearly a year. A 139-day public review came and went with almost no organized community presence.
Most of the county learned the hospital was dying twelve days before it closed. $57 million of public money eventually reopened the building. The maternity ward never came back.
With Market Watch, that first warning shows up in the Signals section of the weekly brief, in front of the people with standing to act, with 328 days still on the clock.
