I graduated from American University in May with my BA in International Studies and a minor in anthropology. I have remained in the DC area with hopes of finding a job related to international development.
OSA cultivated a community of people that pushed me to explore new aspects of my creativity every single day. I was able to pursue an art form I was incredibly passionate about, though I ended up studying something entirely different in college.
I am so incredibly proud to be from Oakland. The city is filled with creativity and culture that rubs off on its inhabitants, and you just can't help but want to be a part of the community.
Orchestra concerts, being backstage with everyone and chatting or playing card games to pass the time instead of watching the other performances.
